Azay le Rideau hotel recommendations

Book early. The area is undermanned and understaffed. Not enough hotels. Here are the few. 

Hotel Biencourt, 7 rue Balzac tel 0247452075
Very inexpensive, for the budget travelers, this 18th century house has a nice garden, traditional rooms with apparent beams. From 44.50€  to 55 €.

Hotel Val de Loire, 52 rue Nationale tel 0247452829 fax 0247459187
Ideal stop for one night. Sober and elegant, all rooms are of a very satisfactory comfort and equipment. Rooms from 42-66 €. 

Hotel Le Grand Monarque, 3 place de la Republique tel 0247454008 fax 0247454625
Near the chateau, in a style Directoire, a very agreeable coquettish 17th century house, the rooms are regularly renovated, impeccable and well equipped. ut some rooms are very badly sound proofed. Avoid them. The funny thing is that the owners name was Forest, a name we all appreciate in our newsgroup :-). And the reception and welcoming was outstanding!Rooms 55 to 99 €.
