In a 17th century house, this is what Amsterdam has the most romantic and authentic to offer. The Herengracht canal is one of the prettiest, the hotel is furnished with taste and style, testifying of the city’s glorious past, offering all comfort in its rooms. The staff, spotless is there only to make your stay the most comfortable. What a review from Joos Huitema!

Hotel Canal House, 148 Keizersgracht tel 6225182
All rooms of this pretty hotel are different. Furnished with style to be in harmony with this ancient building (17th), it is next to the Anne Frank House. Quiet and practical, this small hotel is not far from the Dam. Rooms 135-180 €. (with thanks to J.Huitema)

Along the Singel canal, in the heart of the old quarter, this hotel is located in a 17th century house, wainscoting, narrow steps, cozy rooms, helpful staff. It’s a very romantic hotel owned by the same family since generations. (with thanks to Jan Groenendijk). Rooms go for 123 to 225 €.
