Love at first sight! In the town centre, near the cathedral, on one of the most animated squares of centre town, very cute hotel, and not luxurious but very good value for money. Staff is young and smiling. Agreeable decorated rooms and wonderful Normandy breakfast with the best products. Rooms 34.50 with shower/WC and TV, and 42 € with bath.

Hotel Bristol, 45 rue aux Juifs tel 0235715421 Nice house, facing palais de Justice, with 9 comfortable rooms. Bath, phone and TV. From 34.50 € to 42.10 €.

Small pretenseless, charming hotel, very welcoming between the cathedral and the Seine. Remarkably well maintained with its terraces looking out on the cathedral. All rooms are renovated. Doubles, all comfort for 46.50 €.

In a pedestrian walkway along the cathedral a marvellous hotel de charme, friendly and efficient around a patio with flower tubs. The bedrooms however have not the same charm, even if they are well furnished in what the good hotel guide described as “shabby chic French style”. But restoration works are in progress. Located on the most central square of Rouen, this discreet hotel has rooms on the upper floors looking out on the cathedral. 47 € for a double with shower and 53.50 to 64.75 € with bath. Satellite TV and agreeable rooms.

Traditional, familial hotel. Ask for the very nice, renovated, modern and soundproof rooms with a beautiful furnishing Louis Philippe or Louis XIV and forget the other, deceiving ones. The service is styled and has a very well known restaurant.Prices 68-91.50 €

In the heart of pedestrian Rouen, next to the cathedral, a concrete block with rooms of unequal comfort like the ones with stratified 1970 furnishing or the agreeable ones with cute design. Rooms are spacious, well sound proof, air-conditioned and complete sanitary. Garage. Rooms 69-95.20 €.
