Typical Lyon restaurant called un “bouchon”. A delicate cuisine, you are well served with first class products. The wine carte has a few nice local wines, not too expensive. Menu for 29 € . A la carte count 32.50-37 € .

Napoli Mia, 8 ter rue de Montfavet tel 0490883195 fax 0490858706 Closed on Monday and August.
More Italian than this one and you die!! Everything is fresh and seems to come directly from Italy. What the Gault/Millau calls “une cuisine de Mamma”. Everything is cooked like it should be, the pasta al dente, the pizzas are freshly out of the oven, the ham is from Italy and so are the wines. The owner is a good-humoured Italian, very sympathetic and prices are very sweet. Why not a little piece of Italy in the Provence? Menus for 11.50 €  and a la carte 16.50-21 €.

Entree des Artistes, 1 place des Carmes tel 0490824690 fax 0490140340 Closed Saturday for lunch, Sunday, 1-15th September and last week of December.

Nice place to lunch or dinner under the plate trees near the Ferme Jamet, a genuine farm. A sunny cuisine smelling well the provencal herbs but staying simple and generous. The pain au foie de veau is a specialty. Original open fire (which has still its bread furnace). Menus for 18 € to 35.50 €. Also 20 rooms all comfort (TV) from 61.50 € up. Half -pension obligatory in July (48 € to 55 € a person). Pool and private parking

Tradition and elegance for a successful old fashioned and generous provencal cuisine. The setting is agreeable and charming. All classics are in the menu-carte for 17.50 € at lunch and 26.50 € for dinner. Courteous welcome and service. The bill is somewhat a little on the too high side. But why refrain your pleasure? Carte 32-47 €.  Menus for 17.50-26.95 €.

Le Grand Cafι, 4 rue Escaliers Sainte-Anne tel 0490868677 fax 0490868677. Closed for lunch on Sunday (except in July), first week of January and first week of September.
Excellent address, unknown by the great public. The cuisine is at a high level and you can taste the passion of the cook for his trade.

La Fourchette, 17, rue Racine. Tel 0490852093 Closed Saturday, Sunday, 10-17 January and 6-21 of August.
The great starred restaurant Hielly-Lucullus has a sort of second, cheaper restaurant here. In a sort of provencal interior you are served a simple cuisine executed with brio. Very convivial and the wines are on the reasonable prices side. The desserts are one more sublime than the others. Carte 17-35.50 €.  Menu for 17.50 €, original, delicious and succulent. Reservations are imperative.

Le Woolloomooloo, 16, rue des Teinturiers. Tel 0490852844 Closed Monday in winter. OPEN ON SUNDAY
The cuisine is classic and average quality but people come to this place to be seen since the ambience is very convivial and sympathetic. The house is an old printing plant. No menu but carte for about 25 €.

Les Trois Clefs, 26, rue des Trois-Faucons.  Tel 0490865153. Closed Sunday except during the festival and school holidays.
Here they served, I hope they still do an excellent menu for 32.50 €. The place has class so be dressed well. Other interesting menu for 22 € inspired by the regional products.
