Here you have cheaper prices in low season. Located in the center this nice
renovated 16th century building with a view on the chateau and rue
Voltaire. It has nice double rooms with shower or bath from 51.50 to 64.50 €. The
garden is very exotic with its banana tree in the yard. And if you want to eat
Italian the “Osteria” is next door.

Hotel opens all year, 5 km northwest of Chinon. Follow the D 749 direction
Beaumont, about 4 km. When arriving at the chateau de Coulaine, turn right, and
take the small road to Savigny-en-Veron. When you arrive at the domaine de La
Giraudiere (the vineyard), turn left.
Here you will have guaranteed tranquility. A really off beaten path address.
This attractive 17th century countryseat was transformed in a
welcoming countryside hotel. 25 refurbished rooms with
phone, TV, shower or private bath from 41 to 70 €
a double.

and turn right. It’s well indicated.
Those
who wish to sleep in a genuine 15th century castle will be delighted.
Very well restored, dominating some vineyards, with 7 rooms very nicely
decorated and furnished All the ambience is attractive. No noise, birds singing
and greenery. They even have a heated swimming pool in their park. Doubles from
138 € to 260 €. At the restaurant menu for
44 €, only for dinner.
