Hotel-restaurant recommendations

 

 

The only one given by the Gault/Millau is the Bon Laboureur et Chateau. So I stayed there when I visited the castle:

The house looks very cute, completely eaten by wild grapes, renovated, pleasant and well-equipped rooms. Pleasant vegetable garden. Rooms are now from 65.50-100.50

They have also a very good restaurant, rated today 15/20 in the Gault/Millau. My experience is from a few years ago but was very satisfying. Tradition and skill were the main advantages of a cuisine that has changed today according to a few reviews sent to me people who stayed there last summer.
My experience was a very good langoustines et queue de boeuf, cassolette de coquille saint-jacques aux cepes, croustillant d'agneau à l'ail, gratin de fraises.

Clean, comfortable and well-maintained rooms. Very friendly owners. You have a nice park behind the house. Rooms from 35.50
