Simple decor, nice location inexpensive prices. What can you ask more? Cabillaud sauce Dieppoise, Saint-Jacques à la Normande, daurade a la mousseline d'artichauts. Menus from12.50 to 24 €. A cheaper menu is also available during the week.

The quai Henri IV, as you can imagine, is full of tourist traps. Avoid them but this one, almost at the end of the quay is different. Simple, without any snobbism or arrogance, a simple, home made cooking. Cabillaud, lotte, sole, moules, bar, daurade… Menus for 12.50 to 21.20 €.

Pink dining room, light coloured wainscoting, with a grand view on the pont Colbert and the harbour. Nice cuisine, no big pretence and that's good. Filet de barbue, langoustines roties et beignets d'aubergine, turbot au vinaigre de cidre, filet de bar braisée, soupe du pecheur. More expensive. Menus 38.25-41.50 €

I heard a lot about this place in different guides and was full of expectation. But after the meal, a little bit deceived. Intimate dining room in 18th century style. The cabillaud was dry and the filet de rouget overcooked. But we caught up on the marché de la mer au beurre de legumes and a moving pigeon en cocotte. Aumoniére de glace aux pommes was perfect. Menus for lunch 11.50 €. Menus dinner: 19-36 €.

Not far from the harbour, a rustic décor where you can dine around the unavoidable marmite de la mer (four sorts of fish. Soupe de moules safranée, filet de bar braise, et étuvée crémeuse de fenouil, damier au chocolat sauce pistache. Menus for 24.50 to 35.25 € .
