The Hotel Royal,
the Hotel Normandy, the Hotel du Golf in Saint Arnoult are places where I never
stayed and which are only for millionaires. You can find them described in the
Gault/Millau and other similar guides. It’s not my idea of ratio
price/quality.
Helios
hotel, 10 rue Fossorier, tel 0231144646 fax
0231885387
Well located in centre city, this hotel, built in the 90’s, between beach,
casino and horse race track. Modern, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Prices
for 66.50 to 109 €.
Altea
Deauville, Port Deauville, boulevard E.-Cornuché
tel 0231886262 fax 0231885493
It’s been such a long time!
Hope it is still there because you don’t find affordable hotels and good
quality that easy in Deauville. It is a quiet hotel, along the marina. The rooms
are comfortable and have a mezzanine. I‘ve heard the service is inexistent out
if season! Rooms from 70.25-139 €.
Hotel du
Yacht club, 2 rue Breney tel 0231873000 fax
0231870580
A few residences scattered around, near the yacht club of course. Rooms are
bright, well equipped and satisfactory. Prices 73.25-129.50 €.
Le
Patio, 180 avenue de la Republique tel
0231882507 fax 0231880081
Renovated rooms, quite
comfortable and cosy. It id-s a hotel you can reasonably pick when you’re on a
budget. Prices from 45 to 68.50 €. Extremely cheap for Deauville.
And if you are really decided not to care about any luxury, not to be in the
centre of the action, quite far from the seaside and want to keep your money for
better purposes I propose:
Hotel
du Polo, 33 boulevard Mauger tel 0231981602
fax 0231980899
Has a few agreeable rooms but
you have to be lucky. I think they are in a renovation period, which should be
over now. Rooms from 27.50 to 66.50 €.
