He sits on a low cabin of the EDF (Electricity cabin). His back leaning on the pillar of a church in Saint-Germain.  Seen from far, the colors of his harlequin costume look very cute and give me false hopes. But coming nearer it's just worth five francs. With shaking and convulsive gestures he plays the part of a mechanical puppet and throw hand kisses to the softened by passers and children. The coins tinkle in his hat.
Two hours later I pass again. He is still there and has a lot of difficulties to wriggle, twits and turn in al directions. The spectators disappeared. Only a few mints shine in his used pouch.
The time real emotions should come, there are no tears left...........
