Le Poisson Banane, 6 rue du Forum.tel 0490960258
Only open for dinner. An inventive cuisine for this small place well hidden behind the place du forum. Has a large, agreeable terrace with a menu for 22
and an Antillan speciality: the “poisson banane”, of course! Other menu for 12.50 served until 21.00 every evening.

L’Acqua Café, river halt Saint-Pierre in the quartier de Trinquetaille tel 0608459166

This is a barge, canal boat, anchored on the Rhone. It’s the latest place “ a la mode”: sympathetic décor serves a lot of original salads. A floating wine bar, as you might say. Menus for 13.50 and 25.50
.

L’Affenage, 4 rue Moliere.tel 0490960767. Closed Wednesday evening and Sunday and August.
One of the best addresses in Arles. An old postal relais of the 18th century charming and cute. For 23
a buffet with a lot of entrees, and good but simple plats very well prepared. Also a menu for 14.25 .

La Brasserie du Nord Pinus, see the hotel.
Here they play the provencal symphony in their cuisine. : asperges, tartare de saumon, risotto Venitien . Also a very trendy place where you could dine without even knowing it together with movie stars, fashion photographers or columnists of Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar. Obliged dining place of the aficionados. A new chef coming from the Oustau de Beaumaniere. Price? 17.50-29.50
for the menu, plat du jour for 9.95 €.

Le Jardin de Manon, 14, avenue des Alyscamps.0490933868
Closed Wednesday and in February.
A charming place a little bit out of the centre. You can even eat in the garden but beware of the mosquitoes. The patronne is absolutely deliciously charming. Menu for 17.75
. Other menus for 12 (only lunch) 23 and 30.9 .
