Really inexpensive is very hard if not impossible in that area. Nevertheless here are a few :

If you come to Saint-Tropez to have fun and be as less as possible in our room, this is the ideal place! Correct rooms at the border of town, correct rooms for 60.50 € with shower and WC. Agreeable terrace and flourishing garden.

Hotel Le Baron, 23 rue de la Citadelle. Tel 0494970657.
If you are a motorbike freak here is another place. Talk with the owner, he knows all about! . Doubles from 50-100 € in low season. High season 84 € and more. Very “ buddy, buddy” ambiance.

Important is the free parking you have by staying at this place. Prices are very honest for Saint-Tropez, rooms are medium. Bit you pay only 70 to 85 € a room.  min car from sandy beaches.

In the centre of the city, near the place des Lices, Agreeable rooms and a quiet garden. Rooms for 53-87 €.

Cute small hotel decorated in an exquisite manner which ravishing rooms look out on the sea, the citadel or the roofs of saint-Tropez. Romy Schneider used to lodge here. Picasso came for his pastis, Boris Vian wrote his books, Brigitte Bardot lived here when he shot ‘Et Dieu créa la femme”, Mouloudji sang during dinners.  But the street noise it too……. near. But the hotel will ravish my wealthy readers. Doubles start at 170-300 € in high season.

Mas Bellevue, route de Tahiti tel 0494970721 fax 0494976107.
Overlooking the bay of Pampelonne, a mas surrounded by pine trees and a lot of greenery, transformed in a hotel with very good ratios quality/price. Spacious rooms with terrace or balcony for 60 to 170 €. Typical Provencal atmosphere. Also high standard rooms for 240 € !
