Generous cuisine for very reasonable prices. Menus for 65 FF for lunch and 14.50 € to 19.75 € for dinner. The place is very cute in its typical southern style. The dining room, on the first floor is very agreeable with its apparent beams and many decorative objects. Sometimes they exhibit Carpentras artists. The diners usually happen on the first floor in an agreeable, rustic dining room with apparent stones in the yellow, blue and white colors. Permanent exhibition of Carpentras painters. Generous cuisine at reasonable prices.

Trapier, 41 rue de Galonne tel 0490632411. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Very convivial welcome in this simple restaurant in a very simple dining room with nice chequered white-red tablecloths. Real popular ambience since quite a few workmen have lunch here. Nice terrace and formulas –for lunch for 9.50 €. Plat du jour for 6.85 €. And another menu for 9.50 €. Extremely cheap place but grand of heart.

You will lick your fingers and smack your lips at the patissier-chocolatier Clavel. 30, rue Porte-d’Orange. All candies and chocolates you can imagine, incredible quality and choice.

I will not say more and leave you the surprise to discover this very pleasant place. You will be served on the terrace of the pool in the shadow of the plane trees
