St.Ouen flea market

Introduction

Flea markets Malik, Vernaison and Paul Bert

Flea market Valles, Serpette, Biron and Cambo

Paris-18th arr-Flea market of St.Ouen-Walking in Marché Valles, Serpette, Biron and Cambo

The cheapest market is practically ignored MARCHE JULES VALLES, at the end of the rue Valles. With a little bit of luck you can still find everything and anything like stylish furniture, paintings, old books, lamps and porcelain not even studied or sorted for a reasonable price. Also nice clocks, small furniture, watches, lamps, old postcards, dishes and other objects.  Here you feel a special atmosphere maybe because of its intimate character. It houses a hundred stalls along the 2 covered alleys
MARCHE SERPETTE, coiled in the marche Paul-Bert is more an antique than a flea market and the last-born and the most " in". You should be able to buy here nice art deco objects and paintings of the 18th and 19th century, but also some bar stools and bathroom utensils from beginning 20th century. Look also for some nice 1930 furniture. Alley 4, stand 2, all for the bistro! But don’t forget that the merchants know the prices and foresee a well-filled wallet!
The other markets CAMBO, ROSIERS and BIRON are in the neighbourhood.
The MARCHE BIRON regroups 220 stands and offers antiques, with authenticity vouched by a charter, all stall holders have to sign and respect. No hankie-pankie. All is authentic but very expensive. The jewel of the Flea Market of St-Ouen. Don't expect bargains. The dealers  are installed in real boutiques, not stalls, and present therefore very well maintained objects in superb shape. Marche Biron is an  upscale antiques market. Well known personalities who visit the market each week-end.
Finally the MARCHE CAMBO next to Biron with 40 antique dealers has also Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Ceramics, music instruments, old sketches, regional furnishing, art objects  but it looks more like a real flea market. A bit boring.
