There are no grand tables in Juan les Pins. But I mention you a few where the ratio quality price is good. These places were mostly visited in 1996 and 1997, so it may be that one or other closed or changed owner. 

Le Capitole, 26, avenue Amiral-Courbet tel 0493612244. Closed Tuesday. Menus for 11 and 18 €. Paella, aioli, pot-au-feu. Good service and welcoming. You eat à la bonne franquette

The sea, just at the foot of these bright, welcoming, houses inspires for good cuisine. Ragoût de homard aux saveurs, cassolette d'escargots au vin blanc, foie d'oie marine au vin de pêche, oeuf en neige en gelée de fruits frais. Menus for 15-45 €. 

Bodega tel 0493610752. The place where everybody goes to have some fresh pasta.Menu for 16 €. Don't expect too much service!

When we were there in 1995 when the place was still affordable. And to be in the house where Scott Fitzgerald, lived, that was something !!We stood at the terrace with a great view on golfe and the islands. The cuisine was good but unpretentious and more at the average side. Reading now the Gault/Millau 2000 it earned a lot of points and it seems a new chef is in place. In 1995 it was good, nothing more. Prices were 28 € but this went up now to menus from 29-75 €. We had bottillon de petites asperges du pays, terrine de tourteau very fresh, daurade laquée au parfum chinois, glace aux pépites de nougatine.

Returned there on the advice from a guide. It was very satisfactory. In a cosy cadre, a good, classic and well made cuisine, with very fresh and quality products. Terrine de saumon aux asperges, poelee de gambas au beurre d'anis, rouget aux saveurs orientales, langoustines rôties à la vinaigrette de lait, ananas rôti au rhum. Menus for 23 and 29 €.
