The Villa Kerasy is one of this mythic places in Brittany, not popular enough (or maybe it's a good thing:-))Some claim it is a survival of the "Compgnie des Indes" and it has indeed a discreet luxury and charming atmosphere. Prices are very moderate from 595 F to 925 FF . Anyway, it is a charming small hotel in Vannes near the medieval quarter, at the edge of the Gulf of Morbihan. Kerasy means 'house of Asia'in Breton. Each room represents one of the 12 trading posts of the East India Company.

Facing the sea , this recent buiding in pastel colours, not very well lighted is a combination for business and leisure traveller.  Good sound proof rooms , with all modern facilities. In sthe exceptional site  site exceptionnel skirting the beach. The golfe du Morbihan, weing singles out about the, mildness of its climate .Has also a restaurant service. Good goujonnetes and sole. Price of the rooms: eoubles from 400 FF 680 FF.

A futurist construction I discovered a few years ago. Part of the Mercure chain. Close to the old town of Vannes, in front of the Golf of Morbihan, the hotel provides access to all the leisure facilities of the Parc du Golf. All functional rooms had a view on the large ocean. Prices: 450-575 FF

In the centre of Vannes, a warm, welcoming, calm and cosy cadre. A few steps from the harbour, ramparts, cathedral, station ans town hall, well sound proof rooms, constantly updated and renewed. Very good sanitray equipments.Rooms for 500-650 FF.

If you look for budget hotels  I can advise you the Hotel La Marina, 4 place Gambetta tel 0297472281 fax 0297470034, with comfy rooms, seen the cheap price. I didn't stay overnight but some readers did. Just  in last resort. Prices 245-310 FF. You can bargain.
